1. RBI Grade B Officer Exam Pattern 2014: The Exam will be conducted in two phases which are Online Objective Test and later on a written exam in phase II which will be of descriptive type.
Phase I of RBI Grade B Officer Exam 2014
There will be four test in the Objective test paper which will consist of following parts. The Objective test will be very much similar to that of Probationary Officer Exam.
There will be total 200 questions in the Objective Test and the total allotted time will be of 130 minutes.Those who will qualify this test will be eligible for the phase II of the exam which will be of descriptive type.
Phase II of RBI Grade B Officer Exam 2014
As far as Phase II of the exam is concerned it will consist of following sections
Paper I – English (Essay, Precis writing, Comprehension, Business / Office Correspondence)
Paper II – Economic and Social Issues
Paper III – Finance & Management
2. RBI Grade B Officer Syllabus
The syllabus of the Objective test is very much similar to that of syllabus of Bank PO Exam. The standard of questions of the descriptive test is quite good and questions of Economic and Social Issues are of post graduate level. Therefore the preparation of descriptive test required a very good preparation as the syllabus of the descriptive test is quite wide.
