Sectional Analysis of IBPS PO and Cut Off Analysis:

Now let’s talk about individual section of the prelims

Reasoning ability: The reasoning section was easy to moderate. This section consists of questions from syllogism, inequalities, blood relations, coding decoding & puzzles.

Quantitative aptitude: Quantitative section was moderate but around 10 questions were very easy to solve. Data Interpretation comprised of 10 marks, in which calculations were very easy in 1 set. Questions on percentage, profit loss, discounts, approximation were also there having moderate level of difficulty.

English comprehension: The paper of moderate to difficult level, the reading comprehension consisted of a large part of the section. Cloze test, para jumbled, fillers are of moderate type however this time spotting error questions were difficult.

Overall the exam was of MODERATE to DIFFICULT level. But, if a candidate can score 46-53 score, then there will be a great opportunity for them to clear the exam and for appearing in mains exam.

Based on this analysis expected category wise cut off of IBPS PO Prelims Examination will be:

46-53: General Candidates

40-45: OBC candidates

35-38: SC candidates

32-36: ST candidates
