IBPS RRB CWE Examination Pattern 2015: As all of you know that IBPS Common Exam for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale I, II and III) and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose) for RRB is being conducted every year. Hence there will be five papers for Group “A”- Officers Scale I, II (General banking officer), and III and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose) which will be having 200 questions and will be of 200 marks. Total time allotted will be 2 hour but for Officer Scale II (Specialist Cadre) there will be six papers having 240 questions of 200 marks and total time allotted for that will be 2 hour 30 minutes.

Penalty for wrong answers: There will be penalty for each wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. When a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

Cut off Score: Mean – 3/4th of Standard Deviation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD categories, Mean – 1/4th of Standard Deviation for General Category.

Minimum Qualifying Score: Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum qualifying score in each test and also on total weighted score that is 35% for SC / ST category candidates and 40% for Other Category candidates to be considered to be shortlisted for interview.

Mere passing in individual tests may not be sufficient as candidates should also score sufficiently high on Total in order of merit to be called for interviews to be conducted with the help of the designated Nodal RRBs, coordinated by IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority. Decision of IBPS in shortlisting and calling numbers of candidates for Common Interview shall be Final.

Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.

CWE Score: The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equipercentile method. Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculation.

Interview: Candidates who have been shortlisted in the examination for CWE- RRBs-IV will subsequently be called for an Interview. The proficiency in local language will also be tested at the time of interview. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100.

Minimum qualifying marks in interview: The minimum qualifying marks / scores in interview and within it for local language proficiency will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST candidates). The minimum qualifying marks in interview for Officer Scale II and III will also be not less than 40% for all the candidates except 35% for SC / ST candidates. The relative weightage (ratio) of CWE and interview will be 70:30 respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Examination of CWE for RRBs-IV and Interview. A candidate should qualify both in the CWE and interview individually to be high in the merit and shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process.
