In this post I am going to explain you about the IBPS and IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2017.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is popularly known as IBPS. It is a government body established with the purpose of recruiting personnel for various public sector banks. IBPS however does not recruit for State Bank of India. SBI is having its own recruitment process which is separate from IBPS.

Over the years IBPS has become the most popular recruitment body of the country.

IBPS conducts various Common Written Examinations or CWE for recruitment of various posts such as Probationary Officer, Clerk, Specialist Officer and Regional Rural Bank Officers and Assistants.

Those who are not aware I would like to tell that IBPS conducts recruitment for all public sector banks except SBI. It also conduct reruitment for Regional Rural Banks of India.

IBPS conducts its recruitment process all over the year. It publishes its recruitment calendar every year. 

Dates to Remember: IBPS Clerk 2017 will be conducted in its two phases (Prelims  & Main)  to recruit  eligible candidates for clerical post to its organizations. Candidates those have scored qualifying marks in the preliminary exam will be further qualified for  the Main exam.

Online registration for IBPS Clerk 2017 will probably  begins from August, 2017 and the approximated  date of examination is 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th December, 2017 (Preliminary) and 21st January, 2018 (Main).

The date of availability of online application form has not announced yet. We are still waiting for its official notification.

IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2017

IBPS Clerk Exam Eligibility divided into Three  main sections which are compulsory. All participants  must  check their eligibility before applying IBPS Clerk vacancy.

Age: A candidate must have age limit between 20 years to  28 years.

Education Qualifications:Graduation in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Computer Knowledge: Computer awareness is must for this job post and candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
