IBPS CWE for RRBs Pattern


After conducting Common Exams for PO, Clerks and Specialist Officers in 19 Public Sector Banks, IBPS has now come up with another common exam; this time for recruitment in RRBs. IBPS has announced Common Exam for recruitment of Officers and Assistants in Regional Rural Banks. In this post we are giving you information about this upcoming Common Exam for recruitments in RRBs.

Regional Rural Banks: This exam will be for recruitment in 82 RRBs, spread all overIndia.

Posts: As per the procedure for recruitment individual who aspires to join a Regional Rural Bank either as an Officer (Scale-I, II & III) or as an Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will necessarily be required to qualify through the CWE. A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.

Scorecards & Selection Process: Successful candidates in the CWE will be issued scorecards which will be valid for one year and those who meet with the stipulated eligibility criteria will then be required to apply to any RRB they wish to, quoting their registration no., roll no. etc. Each Regional Rural Bank will then individually shortlist candidates and carry out their own selection processes Interviews etc. for final selection.

Negative Marking: There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Test. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.

Date of Exam: The date of the Written Examination for the post of Officers has been tentatively fixed for02-09-2012 (Sunday) and the date of the Written Examination for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) has been tentatively fixed for09-09-2012 (Sunday).

Start Date for online Registration: 01.06.2012

Last Date for online Registration: 25.06.2012
