Bank Clerk Exam Syllabus

The system of Common Written Examination has been approved by each of the 19 participating Public Sector Banks and the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) with the consent of Government of India. The Common Written Examination or CWE for Clerical Cadre posts will be conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) twice in a year.

The Syllabus for the Clerical Cadre exam is as mentioned below:

The above tests except the Test of English Language will be printed bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

Penalty for Wrong Answers: For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.

Syllabus: The syllabus for Bank Clerk Exams is similar to that of Bank PO Exam, only difference is the level of questions. While in Bank PO exam the difficulty level of the questions are higher, in Bank Clerk, questions are quite simple and straight forward, most of the time.
